Every night the cruise ferries PRINCESS Seaways & KING Seaways meet each other on the North Sea. Both vessels operate the route IJmuiden-Newcastle. Off course a comfortable and safe journey for all passengers is mandatory and obviously cruise ferries have to meet high safety and environmental standards.

In February 2015 Venus & De Waard was commissioned by DFDS Seaways to modify (and in some cases replace) several aluminum doors on the ships. Today, the “sisters” again comply with all laws and regulations.
