In 2014 the H171 – a Cornelis Vrolijk BV fishing trawler – was overhauled. Venus & De Waard replaced the upper part of the chimney and revised parts of the exhaust.

The new chimney part was produced and prepared for assembly in the Venus & De Waard workshop. On friday June 13th it was placed on board (see photo’s). The work on the exhaust was completely done on site.

The work has been executed under supervision of Lloyd’s Register. This worldwide organisation assesses the safety of people and environment while working on science and technology.
